Recently at Lake Central High School (LC), the Lady Indians basketball team won back-to-back Sectional and Regional titles. The team will be competing against Homestead High School for the Semi-State semi-finals at La Porte High School on Saturday, February 17. LC’s Boys Wrestling team also won its first Regional since 2002, and some wrestlers continued that success at Semi-State last week and will compete at the State finals. LC’s Robotics Club also had the amazing opportunity to host its competition at the high school.
Coming up for LC, graduation is quickly approaching for the class of 2024, which means that caps and gowns are on sale. Students also have a chance to submit a speech to speak at graduation. Final speakers are chosen by faculty members at the high school after going through various rounds. Graduation day will be May 29, 2024.
