Join the City of La Porte Park and Recreation and Steady Stitchers, a Purdue Extension Homemakers Clubs for a Saturday morning sewing class learning the basics and building on the knowledge you may already have to create a pillowcase. Pre-registration is required and can be completed at the Park Office (219-326-9600 or 250 Pine Lake Ave, La Porte) weekdays 8 a.m.-4 p.m. All instruction and supplies, including fabric and machine will be furnished. Students are welcome to bring their personal machine, if preferred.
