Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and Hammond Parks & Recreation are holding a fall canvas painting party in September at the Hammond Sportsplex. The Fall Leaves Paint Party will feature a hands-on teaching format where guests will learn to paint a fall scene. The event is Saturday, September 18 from 11:00am – 2:00pm in the Hammond Sportsplex Union Lounge, 6630 Indianapolis Boulevard, second floor.
This event is open to residents as well as non-residents of the City of Hammond.
Registration for this event is $35 and is taking place now at the Hammond Sportsplex. This fee provides instruction for the class, all materials needed to paint your own canvas and access to the bar for the duration of the event. All participants must be 21 years of age or older. Spaces are limited to 25 guests, and wearing a face mask is optional. Registration will be open until all spaces are full.
