Abigail Burke has received a $2500 corporate-sponsored Merit Scholarship through the Tomkins Corporation Foundation. The Tomkins Gates Foundation funds Merit Scholarship awards to recognize outstanding students who are the children of employees of the Gates Corporation and affiliated companies. Burke plans to attend Harvard University to study law. She is the daughter of Sean and Linda Burke of Burns Harbor.
Alisha Dziarski has received a $2500 National Merit Scholarship. Dziarski plans to study medical research at Yale University. She is the daughter of Roman and Dipika Dziarski of Chesterton.
