Trojan Guard Earns Third Place at Concord

Chesterton High School Trojan Guard recently competed at the Concord Invitational at Concord High School in Elkhart, Indiana. The Trojan Guard earned third place, competing and placing well against Penn and Goshen High School. Goshen placed first with a score of 72.5, Penn second with a score of 69.6, and Chesterton third with a score of 62.5.

In comparison, the bands of Penn and Goshen High School are comprised of 180 members or more. The Trojan Guard features 59 wind players, 20 percussion, 16 color guard, and two drum majors for a total of 97 members.  

The Trojan Guard competed again this past Saturday, Sept. 28 at Penn High School for the annual Carnival of Bands invitational.
