Tony Goin serves as the director of therapy and manages some of those staff members. With his guidance that provides structure and maps out a patient’s journey back to health and mobility, he is excited to work each day.

“I manage the therapy staff; that involves planning out each patient’s schedule, and each therapists schedule with the patient,” explained Goin. “It also involves meeting with departments throughout the facility, doing screenings, and many other things.”

For him, seeing patients improve and meet goals is one of the most rewarding and important aspects of his career. As someone who has been a therapist since 1997, he knows the value and impact that a great therapist and program can provide.

“We get a huge diversity of patients, but the typical response here is one of laughter and good conversation,” said Goin. “We’re able to see patients recover mobility here, that were unable to make progress before.”

Additionally, Goin knows that healing involves more than a good therapy program. Patients must be able to build a good relationship with their therapist to create trust and motivation. For Goin, those relationships and success stories are one of the many positive moments in his day.

“The thing I enjoy most is getting to meet people and build relationships with them. We help them get better and I get to see desired outcomes and help them return home or be pain free,” said Goin.

With a high energy staff who remains calm throughout the therapy process, Goin knows he has a great staff under his eye.

“I have energetic, highly motivated, patient oriented people that are working extremely hard to improve outcomes of their patients,” said Goin.

With Goin’s guidance and the work ethic of his department, patients are able to come into a welcoming facility and receive exceptional service. Through facility communication and motivation, Goin is able to enjoy the gratifying and rewarding world of therapy.
