The SSDA 50-50-50 Challenge to Raise $2,500 in Scholarships is Up and Running

SSDA-50-Friends-Dollars-DaysIf 50 friends each make a $50? donation during the next 50 days, we will raise $2,500 to go toward dance scholarships for our summer and year-round programs.

We're on our way, but we need your help to make our goal. Be a "Friend of SSDA" by donating and helping us continue providing opportunities for deserving young dancers! Donate now online!

All dancers in the South Shore Dance Alliance junior and senior performance companies dance "on scholarship". However, the majority of those scholarships are not fully funded meaning that the actual cost of providing the services and training to these dancers, which is $2,000 a year per dancer, is not completely covered.

SSDA has helped prepare dancers to move to professional dance companies and into colleges and universities across the country including The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, The Juilliard School, Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre, and many more.
