Submissions for both plays and musicals will be accepted. Submission deadline is Sunday, May 11 2014. Previous theatre/director experience is preferred, but not necessary. Those applying should bring the following experience with them or have this experience as part of their production team: theatrical experience, choreography (musicals only), music/orchestration (musicals only), set building & design, sound & lighting design, and budgeting. Directors should have reliable transportation, telephone, and computer access.
The Genesius Guild season generally includes up to four productions of various types throughout the year. Traditionally, these have included the following:
A Musical, to be presented in mid-Winter (February)
A Play (preferably a drama), to be presented in early spring (April/May)
A Family Production, preferably a musical, to be presented mid-summer (July)
A Play (preferably a comedy), to be presented in early fall (September/October)
Potential directors should note that the calendar above lists an approximation of each time slot, subject to change based on availability of the performance space, director and/or availability of rights to perform the production.

All Genesius Guild productions will take place in the fellowship hall at the First United Methodist Church of Hammond, 6635 Hohman Avenue in Hammond, Indiana.
