St. Mary's Annual Field Day, June 1, 2016, was foiled this year when the rain drown out the outdoor games that had been planned. The Wildcats turned a rainy day into an impromptu school wide dodgeball tournament. Each grade level at St. Mary’s School has two classes. Each class faced off against one other. All of the "A" classes wore red, while the "B" classes wore blue.
The school had a spirited Red vs. Blue showdown. The parent volunteers, that showed up to help with field day, even got in on the action. They played against some of the graduating 8th students that came back to assist with the day’s activities. Teachers, students, and parents alike all had a blast. It may have been one of the best field days to date for St. Mary's, and it all started with the rain!
