The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority and Fair Oaks Farms are hosting the 2nd Annual South Shore Regional Car Show on Thursday, Aug. 6 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Hundreds of hot rods, antique and classic cars, trucks and corvettes will take over Fair Oaks Farms for a unique car show experience.
A total of 50 awards will be given out during the car show including Top 45, Best RatRod, Best Paint, Best Accessories, People’s Choice and Best of Show. In addition to antique and classic cars, this year’s car show will feature a unique display from the Antique Snowmobile Museum of Indiana.
Cost to participate is $20 and will include a T-shirt and dash plaque if pre-registered. Day-of registration will cost $20, and T-shirts will be sold separately. Dash plaques will be available while supplies last for day-of registrants. Registration is from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and awards begin at 7:30 p.m.
While at the car show, attendees can also enjoy a DJ and music, food and Fair Oaks Farms attractions. Spectator admission is a $2 donation or one canned good, with all proceeds benefitting the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana.
