Redwood Landscape is about to enter its busy season. With the addition of a new Lighting Technician Kole Ward, Redwood is set to create personalized designs for both personal and commercial properties.
As a lighting technician, Ward supports customers year-round with outdoor lighting needs.
“I do estimates, send emails, call customers, and help with marketing,” Ward said. “Throughout the year we do landscape lighting, inception lighting, and Christmas lighting.”
Ward’s history with Redwood goes back years.
“I used to work for Redwood back when it initially started,” Ward said. “After a short break, I came to this role to help customers light up their homes for Christmas.”
Ward works with both Redwood and Lumin8. Pairing the best pieces together, Redwood and Lumin8 work together to provide both landscaping and outdoor lighting solutions all across Northwest Indiana.
“Redwood is our main company, and Lumin8 is our sister company,” Ward said. “Redwood is how we got here.”
Part of why Ward is so passionate about Redwood Landscape is because of the culture they have created for its employees.
“They care about family,” Ward said. “They care about your opinion–your voice is being heard, and they want to see you succeed.”
Ward has big hopes for his time at Redwood, and he’s excited that the company supports those.
“They always tell me if you need help with anything, reach out to us,” Ward said. “Everyone at Redwood wants to see you succeed and be helpful.”
One of Ward’s main goals is to increase brand recognition and spotlight Redwood and Lumin8.
“My hope is that one year from now, I have a full inbox of people who need our work,” Ward said. “This is such a great family business, and I would love to see it succeed.”
