Deadline for nominations is September 30.
The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority will accept R.O.S.E. and R.I.S.E. nominations until September 30, 2020. The annual celebration, honoring exceptional hospitality employees, will also be held virtually in 2020.
R.O.S.E. Awards is an acronym for Recognition of Service Excellence and honor front-line employees that continually go above and beyond to make a positive impact on the visitor experience. R.I.S.E. Awards, or Recognition of Industry Success and Excellence honors managerial employees or past R.O.S.E. Winners who have risen above expectations when directly interacting with customers.
The South Shore CVA will announce the 2020 winners on October 7, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. (Central) through Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/alongthesouthshore. From October 7 through December 15, the South Shore CVA will feature winners of the 2020 Awards through social media as well as featured in The Times.
This year, six R.O.S.E. winners will be chosen and no more than two R.I.S.E. winners. Each will receive a day of pampering courtesy of State of Mind Salon in Crown Point as well as a basket filled with gift cards and other prizes.
Nominations can be submitted at www.rose-awards.com. Supporting documents, like comment cards and photos can also be uploaded with online nominations. All nominations submitted after September 30 will be eligible for the 2021 awards.
