Munster Speech Team Competes at 2016 Harvard Invitational

Congratulations, Munster Speech! Munster High School Speech competed at Harvard University National Invitational in Cambridge, Massachusetts on February 12-16. Over 4,000 students from 35 states participated in the national competition.

Munster had several advancing students. Trey DeLuna/Chloe Zatorski and Tatiana Shinkan/Peyton Tinder were named Octafinalists in Duo Interpretation. Alex Bleza/Tara Layous were quarterfinalists in Duo Interpretation. Trey DeLuna and Vivian Reba were quarterfinalists in Dramatic Interpretation. Alex Raycroft was named a quarterfinalist in Humorous Interpretation.

Advancing students defeated over 200-250 competitors on average. Peyton Tinder placed 7th in the country and was named a Semi-finalist in Humorous Interpretation.

Unofficially, Munster Speech placed in the top 10 in the nation in terms of number of advancing students.
