Job Description
The primary role of this position will be to support end users, workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and client-side applications. This position will also work closely with the IT staff in the deployment of other IT related projects.
Responsibilities
• Provide support for employees with technical requests by email, phone, or in person
• Troubleshoot and install computer hardware, peripherals, and printers
• Administer security patches and all other software updates on company computers
• Manage inventory management system for workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and other company equipment
• Support and implement all client-side applications
• Manage, monitor, and support the company mobile device management system
• Support, install, and upgrade various audio-visual equipment used for presentations and training
• Manage Active Directory and Group Policy Objects for users, workstations, and laptops
• Implement and configure network configurations on devices as needed
• Provide basic support for company communications equipment (VoIP phones, radio systems, etc.)
• Provide basic networking support
• Implement and manage endpoint protection mechanisms
• Support and manage company website through content management system as needed
• Assist with all other IT related projects as needed
Qualifications & Skills
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office products
• Must have technical knowledge in the installation, troubleshooting and operation of computers, printers, storage devices, peripherals, mobile devices, and network devices
• Comp TIA, Microsoft, TestOut or other entry level certifications are preferred but not required
• A strong understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy Objects
• Has knowledge in basic computer networking (DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, etc.)
• Experience with working with a content management system (CMS)
• VoIP or PBX systems experience is a plus
• Must have a strong security mindset; follows security best practices and techniques
• Must be proficient at working independently and within a team environment
• Must possess a strong self-motivation and willingness to learn
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Must have strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel up to one or two times annually
• A valid Indiana driver's license is required to operate company vehicles
Education/Experience:
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in a computer science related area.
• Directly related experience may substitute for educational requirements.
