Franciscan St. Anthony Health Hosts a Sweet Auxiliary Fundraiser

St-Anthony-Bakery-Fundraiser 1I recently made the trek to Franciscan St. Anthony Health. I wasn't sick or hurt, I was hungry.

The Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Point Auxiliary hosted a fundraiser and had the Rise n Roll Bakery there to help.

"This is the second time we've had Rise N Roll here. We sold out the first time they came," Sharon McColley, Auxiliary Director of Fundraising, said. "We have fundraisers all through the year and the money we make here goes to the Auxiliary and we give it back to the hospital."

Baked goods of all types were available for purchase including: cinnamon rolls, carmel-cinnamon rolls, cookies, noodles, breads, pies, doughnuts, cakes, and other delicious morsels. There were also preserves, cheeses, and gluten free items. People crowded around the long table that held the treats and perused eagerly.

I got there early so there was still plenty to choose from. I bought some cinnamon doughnut holes, chocolate covered cashew brittle, and cowboy cookies.  Back to the office I went to share the spoils with my fellow Lifers.

And they were all like...
