Spend the weekend in Crown Point visiting the final car cruise of the 2022 season, enjoying pumpkin beer at Oktoberfest, getting a workout with Sweat 219 and more!

CAR CRUISE

Beep, beep! The Car Cruise rolls into Bulldog Park at 4 p.m. this Thursday, Sept. 29!  This is the last car cruise of the 2022 season. Join us for a night of classic cars, music and more! Damo's Dogs, The Cheesy Truck and Crown Creamery will be available for purchase. Live music will begin at 4:15 p.m. with LeAnn Stutler (Americana). The Relics (classic rock/oldies) will close out the night from 5:30-8 p.m.

COMMUNITY SAFETY NIGHT

Join Crown Point Fire Rescue and Franciscan Health for a free, family friendly night out! Community Safety Night will be held from 4:30-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at the Franciscan Health Pavilion at Bulldog Park. There will be safety demonstrations, a bike helmet giveaway and more! 

MOVE WITH SWEAT 219

Move with Sweat 219 during its launch party from 4-7 p.m. this Friday, Sept. 30, at the Franciscan Health Amphitheatre at Bulldog Park. Bring an exercise mat for a mini sweat session, enjoy live music, preview merchandise and more! For more information, check out Sweat 219 on Facebook @Sweat219. 

OKTOBERFEST

Oktoberfest returns to Bulldog Park this weekend! Join us for our fun, family-friendly festival from 2-10 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 1. Enjoy a variety of local and traditional German meals, live music from local bands, a beer garden, hayrides, contests and more! Admission is free. PETE & SONS CAR SHOW

Visit Pete & Sons Auto Repair, 1001 Breuckman Drive, for its fourth annual Car/Truck/Bike Show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1. Enjoy music, food and drinks, silent auctions and more! All proceeds will benefit scholarships for two students pursuing a skilled trades education. 

SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATE FORUM

Visit the Crown Point Community Library for a Crown Point Community School Corp. school board candidate forum moderated by Dr. Tony Lux from 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, in the library’s meeting rooms. This event is hosted by the Crown Point Library, Northwest Indiana Coalition for Public Education and Rise NWI. 

TUESDAY TALKS

Mayor Pete Land will host Tuesday Talks at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Crown Point Fire Rescue, located at 126 N. East St. Come hear about all the exciting things happening in the city!
