Crown Point VEX Robotics Team Participates in State Championship

crown-point-hs-vex-2014On Saturday March 1, the Crown Point High School VEX Robotics Team 1233 Underdogs participated in the Indiana State VEX Championship in Indianapolis.

48 of Indiana's top VEX Robotics Teams were qualified for this tournament. Five teams represented the CPHS VEX Robotics Team with Team 1233F finishing in the Quarter Finals, Teams 1233A and C finishing in the Semifinals, and Team 1233E going all the way to the finals (and for our fifth straight year) qualifying for a spot at the World Championships in Anaheim California where they will compete this April against more than 400 Teams from 24 countries for the right to be called World Champions. The VEX Robotics Team was also awarded a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of valuable contributions to Indiana VEX Robotics. The team’s major contributors are the Crown Point Community Foundation, Dr. & Mrs. McNally, and Mr. & Dr. Gold.
