The Daily Beast ranked more than 700 of the country’s public high schools using 6 key indicators from school surveys to compare high schools in the U.S. Graduation and college acceptance rates weighed most heavily. College level courses and exams, percentage of students on free and reduced lunch, as well as ACT and SAT scores were also used in determining the rankings.
ACT and SAT scores help indicate how well students are prepared for college. Crown Point High School ranked fourth place in Indiana for public schools.
