Chesterton High School Student Government members gathered after school with members of the recruiting office collecting for Toys for Tots this holiday season. Gifts were collected by Student Government members at the school. The US Marine Reserve Corp will give them to children through their Toys for Tots program. A mitten tree with new gloves, hats and scarves, also sponsored by the student council, will be donated to a homeless shelter.
