Chesterton High School participates in No Shave November

Chesterton High School faculty and staff participated in "No Shave November" contest last month raising $200 for local charities.  Sixteen participants, each donating $10 or more, grew out their hair, leg hair, and beards during the month of November and gave students an opportunity to vote on a winner.  Teacher Jacob Lukach was the winner of the event.  The winner was allowed to choose to have $100 of the collected funds donated to a charity of his/her choice. Lukach chose to donate to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association (ALSA) also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. The other $100 was donated to the American Cancer Society.
