Savor the South Shore will take place February 15-28
The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority is seeking restaurants to participate in the annual culinary adventure known as Savor the South Shore Restaurant Weeks. The 2021 promotion will run from February 15 through the 28, featuring area restaurants that have struggled through restrictions and shutdowns and many that are offering carry-out menus.
Savor the South Shore is free to participate and restaurants only need to submit discounted menus or specialty carry-out items for patrons. An online form can be accessed at alongthesouthshore.com/savor.
“The hospitality industry and restaurants in particular have been hit hard by the pandemic. Our restaurants need a boost, especially during this normally slow time of year. We are hopeful that Savor will increase sales and create awareness with a renewed focus on supporting local,” stated Erika Dahl, Director of Communications for the South Shore CVA.
This year, the Savor the South Shore Restaurant Weeks campaign will have a focus on carry-out menu items and communicate how participating restaurants are keeping their customers and staff safe for those not quite ready to eat out.
Customers wishing to enjoy discounted menu items and specialty carry-out dishes do not need a coupon but are encouraged to ask for the Savor the South Shore menu before ordering. Full menus with prices will be available at alongthesouthshore.com/savor as they become available.
