Continuing its tradition of giving back to the community during the Christmas season, the Bishop Noll Hockey Team just finished its collection of toys and gifts.
The items will be donated to Haven House, an emergency shelter located in Hammond, which serves victims of domestic violence and their dependents. Each player drew the information for a child and was asked to donate a toy and some items from the adult wish list.
The hockey club is under coach Rich Sobilo, a member of Bishop Noll's class of 1983, and are the class A state champions.
