The Crown Point High Scholl Academic Decathlon team competed at state January 14, 2015 and won the state championship for the first time in Crown Point High School history. The team took first place in math, art, economics, and social science. Saym Imtiaz won the honors division and Ryan Sizemore was runner up in the scholastic division. Members of the team are: Saym Imtiaz, Justin Waran, Adrell Mable, Ryan Sizmore, Katherine Kennedy, Kourtney Bruder, Lily Sharp, Julia Brown, Dara Hutchinson. Team coach/sponsor is Mr. John Lambersie.
