Gross Fund the Lake County Public Library is proud to bring access to the premier genealogy database Ancestry Library Edition. The Gross Fund donation fosters an interest in genealogy and makes it accessible to over 242,837 residents in the library's service area.

Ancestry is the one stop resource for genealogists with billions of records just a click away. Whether you are just beginning your search or are the family historian, this database offers Research Aids with tips on using the Census, Religious, Death, Military and Cemetery Records and more. You can download and print Ancestral Charts, Research Calendars, and Correspondence Record Charts to aid your search.
