CMS Students Participate in All-Region Honor Band

Chesterton Middle School had five students representing them at the 2013 Indiana Bandmasters Association North All-Region Honor Band on November 23 and 24.

Those students are, left to right, Rachel Hoffmann, Amera Abuhakmeh, Madeline Joesten, Aaron Brookhouse and Christian Richardson.

All-Region Honor Band was hosted at Kankakee Valley High School in Wheatfield, Indiana and included approximately 115 seventh, eighth, and ninth grade students representing thirty-two area schools.

On Saturday, November 23 the students spent the day in rehearsal and on Sunday, November 24, the students participated in a dress rehearsal followed by a concert performance at 4:00 p.m.
