Cashier/Customer Service Representative
Day to day duties include:
- Answering customer phone calls and inquiries, efficiently directing them to the correct department for assistance.
- Operating a multi line phone system.
- Communicating the needs of customers to appropriate departments.
- Working directly with Service and Parts advisors to collect and balance payments on repairs and Parts. Also working with Sales department on collecting deposits and payments on new and used vehicle sales.
- Work with other general office, receipting in accounts receivable checks and credit card payments.
- Accurately receipting cash payments, documenting purchases, and filing receipt and repair orders once completed.
- Using Dealertrack software programs to complete daily tasks and duties.
- Balancing your cash drawer, petty cash, change box, and bank deposits daily.
- Providing temporary plates through the states website for cars sold.
- Calling customers and advising when title work is ready and available.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Saturday availability is a must.
Requirements:
- Experience in an office-based work environment
- Prompt, courteous and dependable; able to work hours as assigned.
- Team Player attitude, enthusiastic personality
- Strong computer skills required.
- Must be able to multi-task and be comfortable with handling multiple tasks at the same time as they come up.
- Dealership experience isn't a requirement but is strongly recommended.
Shift will be Part time on Wednesday and Friday evenings from 3:00PM to close. Closing is at 8:00 pm but will need to be available until last customer leaves. Then on Saturday from 8:00AM to 12:30PM. Extra hours may be available on occasion to cover shifts as needed. Will need daytime availability for orientation and training.
