The Korellis crew is welcoming three new members to its office, each bringing a unique background and array of skills to help elevate their world-class team to even greater heights. Jonte Robinson and Zakary Green join Korellis as the group’s newest Project Managers, while Tim Wozniak brings decades of experience to the team as its newest Commercial Estimator.

Jonte Robinson

Robinson is a Region native and graduate from Indiana State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He applied that education for a few years as a Product Development Analyst at an engineering firm. Most recently, he worked as a Project Engineer for an electrical contractor in Illinois. Robinson is excited to bring his experience to a 100% employee-owned company.

“During the job hunt, I saw this as a step to bigger and better things for my career path,” he said. “Korellis is a very thorough company. When I was going through their application, everything lined up to what I was seeking in a job. In the interview process, the company culture also stood out to me. As an employee-owned company, there’s a sense of accountability and I’ve been witnessing outstanding work ethics from hard-working individuals.”

Robinson is most looking forward to continuing building his project management portfolio on the diverse array of projects Korellis handles.

“What excites me the most is simply working on projects and getting them done with high quality, within budget, and on time,” he said. “I hope to bring and share approaches of how I understand project management to benefit in process efficiency to make an impact.”

Zakary Green

Green is an Army veteran and Region native, recently completing his active-duty contract where he was a training and operation site manager. He is now in the Army Reserves and is pursuing a degree in Building and Construction Management and is looking forward to growing Korellis’ business and developing his own craft.

“The interviews with Korellis were just different,” he said. “The leadership was knowledgeable in the company’s history and craft, and the interactions I had with them displayed an environment that most people never experience during their career. They bet on their employees and train them to further their careers – and that’s what was most appealing.”

When Green started out, it did not take long for Korellis to assign him a project load. A lot of the work was new to him, and the support he received as he took on new challenges quickly told him he made the right choice in joining the team.

“I realized in my first week that Korellis was a company I could thrive in for years to come,” he said. “I relied heavily on my management for assistance. From the senior estimator, internal operations manager, and even the president of the company, I received step-by-step assistance during the entire process. I’ve gained knowledge on a daily basis.”

Tim Wozniak

A Region native and Purdue graduate, Wozniak brings almost three decades of construction industry experience to the Korellis team. He had heard a lot about them in his years in the industry, so they were a natural fit for him during his job hunt.

“Korellis has a long-standing reputation for excellence in the industry, it’s a well-known name throughout the area,” he said. “Employees are excited to work here and that was evident during the interview process. The team takes pride in everything they do, and I wanted to be a part of that and ‘The Korellis Way.’”

Wozniak is looking forward to applying his experience to help Korellis in any way he can.

“I have 28 years of estimating experience and I’m excited to use that to contribute to the growth of the company,” he said. “I have a lot of knowledge to share, and there is a lot for me to learn here as well.”
