Entry Level Commercial Real Estate Broker – NW Indiana

 Job Responsibilities:

• Work directly with a senior broker to manage a high volume of existing properties
• Manage onboarding of new prospects
• Set and attend tours of properties
• Prepare proposals and work with tenants throughout their office search and lease negotiations
• Take photographs of buildings and suites
• Procurement of new business opportunities through networking and referral management
• Assist senior brokers with business development
• Researching the local market and staying up to date on industry trends
• Participating in training and ongoing skills-development
• Any other tasks as assigned, which may be adjusted by management at any time

 Requirements/Quality of applicants:

• Self-motivated, honest, and high ethical standard
• Highly organized in day to day tasks and diligent on follow up
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Capability to initiate, establish and maintain relationships in person and virtual, which can include phone calls and emails
• Ability and mindset to learn new approaches and company standards
• Ability to multitask and prioritize projects and tasks
• Excellent customer service skills - comfortable with making cold calls
• Must be a team player and able to handle tasks assigned to them

 Minimum Education and Experience:

• Secondary education or training, military service, or alternative education experience preferred
• 2+ years of sales experience preferred
• Previous real estate experience not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Candidate must hold, or be willing to obtain, a State Issued Real Estate Broker License
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check
