“Before the game. Our expectation was that it would be one of the hardest games you had to play in sectional but we knew if we played well enough, we would win. When I scored the goal, it got me ready to try and score more and finish off the game.” Hannah Pesich (Crown Point-F) “I think in the beginning of the game and to be honest, I was pretty confident going into it. I had a little bit of a mess up (Lake Central penalty kick) and it went over my head…towards the end of the game, more pressure was on me but all I had to do was stay locked in and stay ready for any shot that could happen…my team especially my defense owned everything…they helped me a lot and I think being able to talk to my teammates very well and they understand me…” -Sam Quick (Crown Point-GK)

“I think the big thing for us is that we just want to continue to play with confidence in the attack and so we have found ways to score multiple different ways in throughout the season and I think tonight, it was a combination of two different types of goals and then defensively, I feel like we had a great game. A penalty kick like that It’s unlucky when it happens and it’s one of those calls where you know you just have to deal with it and try to save it if you can.
