The Marion Giants were taken down by a wall of Hobart Brickies on the Brickie’s home turf. On the second play of the game Hobart senior Riley Johnson scored their first touch down. The Brickies were unstoppable from there winning the semi state championship 49-20. This will be the first time the back-to-back region champs will head to state football championship in 24 years.
“I can’t thank you guys enough for doing everything you did to make sure we got to this point,” said Coach Craig Osika to the team. “Our goal was to play fifteen. We have that opportunity now. Let’s get the job done!” The Hobart Brickies will travel to Indianapolis to play againSt Roncalli under the lights of the Colts stadium.
