The Andrean 59er’s faced The Evansville Mater Dei this past Friday at Lucas Oil Stadium in a rematch of the 2022 IHSSA 2A State Championship where Andrean came away with the win. Notre Dame commits Drayk Bowen obliterated Mater dai in last year’s game in a 21-9 victory for the 59ers, but this year they fell short losing 20-10. Andrean finished the game with only 221 total yards. And the 59ers only averaged 2.6 yards per carry. Drayk Bowen finished with 95 yards in 26 carries.
