BOYS BASKETBALL SECTIONALS Valpo VS Merrillville 2022
Published: March 2, 2022The Valparaiso Vikings and Merrillville Pirates faced off on the hardwood in Round 1 of Sectionals on March 2. This game was close all night and saw nine lead changes and a tie game heading into the fourth quarter. Ultimately, the Merrillville came away with the win to upset Valpo 45-37. Mason Jones lead the Vikings in points and rebounds in the final game of the season for Valpo. The Pirates were lead by Dixon who had 19 points on the night.
