BOYS BASKETBALL IHSAA SECTIONAL Munster VS. Lake Central 2023
Published: March 4, 2023Munster took on Lake Central in an electric sectional semifinal game. Originally the game was scheduled for Friday, March 3rd, but because of snow, it was played on Saturday. Although the Mustangs were technically the away team, they defeated home court in a 56-51 victory. Defense was key for both teams, with Munster’s David Cundiff getting huge game-changing steals. Brandon Trilli led the Mustangs in scoring with 20, and was followed by Nolan Kinsella with 17. Jake Smith led the way for LC with 15. The Mustang will face Hammond Central on Monday for the sectional title.
