The Hobart Brickies beat the Lowell Red Devils 63-59 in an overtime thriller on Friday, December 20. Junior shooting guard Ryan Basham led Hobart with 18 points – going 13 for 16 on free throw attempts.
Lowell Senior Braydon Cox led all players in scoring with a 22 point effort in the loss.
The win moves the Brickies’ record to 4-2 in the early season, while the Red Devils fall to 4-3. Lowell will look to bounce back with a win against McCutcheon on December 27, while the Brickies will aim to continue their momentum in the Harrison Raider’s Holiday Shootout Tournament – also on December 27.
