Hammond Central took on Hammond Morton in the sectional semifinals. Originally the game was scheduled for Friday, March 3rd, but because of snow, it was played on Saturday. Hammond defeated Morton handily 71-30. It was a balanced scoring attack for the Wolves with Vynce Overshawn and Kenneth Grant leading the way with 12 points each. Matthew King and Marucs Browder weren’t far behind, each posting 11 points. Hammond will take on Munster at Munster on Monday for the sectional title.
