BOYS BASEBALL IHSAA SECTIONAL Lake Central VS. Munster 2023
Published: May 27, 2023On Saturday, May 27th, Lake Central battled Munster in the Sectional Semifinal hosted at Munster High. This game was all LC from the start. Lake Central opened the game with a 4-run top of the first to set the pace. LC starting pitcher Griffin Tobias went 4 strong innings only allowing 1 hit and striking out 5. He was relieved by Josh Warn, who went the remaining 3 innings while only allowing 2 hits and tallying 3 Ks. LC senior Joey Carra had a great day at the plate going 3-3 with 2 triples, 2 RBI, and a walk. Josh Adamczewski went 2-3 with 2 walks.
LC advances to take on the Hobart Brickies in the sectional championship on Monday.
