BOYS BASEBALL IHSAA REGIONAL Illiana VS. Hebron 2023
Published: June 3, 2023With the class 2A IHSAA Baseball Tournament in full swing, the defending 2A Champion Illiana Christan Vikings took on the Hebron Hawks in regional play. The game remained scoreless going into the top of the third, but Illiana would break it wide open and never look back. #10 Isaac VanderWoude had a monster day at the plate. He started the Illiana offensive surge with a grand slam in the top of the third and added another 2 RBI later in the game. Illiana would go on to win 18-0 in five innings. Starting pitcher #27 Kevin Corcoran went all five innings. The Vikings will take on Westview in the semi-state semifinals.
