WPL Movies in June: Fighting with My Family, and It’s It Romantic

Westchester Public Library presents two matinee films during the month of June. Fighting with My Family will take place on Sunday, June 9, at 1:30 p.m., and Isn't It Romantic will be screened on Saturday, June 22 at 3 p.m. Both films will be shown in the Baugher Center, located at 100 W. Indiana Avenue, Chesterton. Attendance is free of charge. Enjoy complimentary popcorn while watching the movies.

In the movie Fighting with My Family Paige and her brother Zak, who born into a tight-knit wrestling family, are ecstatic when they get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to try out for the WWE. But when only Paige earns a spot in the competitive training program, she must leave her loved ones behind and face this new cutthroat world alone. Paige's journey pushes her to dig deep and ultimately prove to the world that what makes her different is the very thing that can make her a star. Fighting with My Family is rated PG-13 and has a running time of 1 hour and 49 minutes.

The film Isn't It Romantic, Natalie (Rebel Wilson) is a New York architect who works hard to get noticed at her job. Things go from bad to weird when she gets knocked unconscious during a subway mugging and magically wakes up to find herself in an alternate universe. Always cynical about love, Natalie's worst nightmare soon comes true when she suddenly discovers that she's trapped inside a romantic comedy playing the leading lady. This movie is rated PG-13 and has a running time of 1 hour and 29 minutes.
