WorkOne to host Young Adult Resource Event in Gary

WorkOne will be hosting a Young Adult Resource Event open to the public on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 10:00am-2:00pm at Trinity United Church located at 1276 West 20^th Avenue in Gary. Young adults, ages 16-24 are encouraged to attend and learn about the free services available to them through WorkOne. A WorkOne Career Advisor will be on hand to provide information on services such as job searching, resume and interviewing assistance, scholarships for skills training, and paid work experience opportunities with local employers. There will also be information about free classes for obtaining the High School Equivalency (previously known as GED).  Parents or guardians are welcome to attend.
