The Griffith Career Center will host a Transferable Skills Workshop. This workshop is aimed to teach you skills and abilities which can be applied to a wide range of jobs and industries. Skills such as communication, time management, motivation and leadership (among others) are very useful when showing potential employers how you could be a good fit within the workplace. You can also use these skills as a resource to learn and gain experience in an entry-level position. Clients will identify transferable skills gained through school or college, extracurriculars, and in the workplace to learn how to better market themselves in their job search. The workshop will also cover which transferable skills sets are most desired by employers. Donuts and coffee will be provided.
