Event Information

The City of Crown Point and Crown Point Community Library are pleased to partner to host the 2023 Tour of Lights! Enjoy a holiday story time at the Crown Point Community Library before boarding one of the City's trolleys to take a tour of homes decorated for the holidays. 

The Crown Point Tour of Lights will be from 5-8 p.m. Dec. 8-Dec. 9, and 5-7 p.m. Dec. 11-Dec. 14. Each tour begins with a holiday story time hosted by the Crown Point Community Library, which lasts about 30 minutes. Each guided trolley ride lasts about an hour. All festivities are held at the Crown Point Community Library, 122 N. Main St. 

The Tour of Lights is a fun event for the whole family. Families who enjoy decorating their homes for the holidays can sign up to be on the route. Please note, someone from the city will contact you if your home is chosen to be a part of this year's Tour of Lights. Selections are made based on the route.  

This is a free event for all ages. 

Registration is required. Reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to 10 people per party. 

Space is limited! Sign up for your preferred time now. Waitlist reservations will be accepted once space is completely booked. Reservations open Friday, Dec. 1, 2023.

While our trolleys are heated, the windows will be open to offer the best view of the holiday homes. Please dress accordingly. Reservations will be held rain or shine.
