St. Catherine Hospital offers diabetes education classes

St. Catherine Hospital offers Diabetes Education classes. The classes have been Recognized by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Self-Management Education. The classes are held from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursdays. The classes in Spanish are held on the second Thursday of the month. Learn to follow a special diet, exercise, monitor glucose levels, new medication and food substitutions. Registration is required. Center for Diabetes, 4321 Fir St., East Chicago.
