Event Information
To celebrate the expanded pre- and post-natal education offerings at St. Catherine Hospital, Community Healthcare System will host a resource fair called Spring into Motherhood.
This resource fair will take place from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. May 21 in the Professional Office Building Conference Room, in the North entrance of St. Catherine Hospital, 4321 Fir St., East Chicago. Spring into Motherhood is a free event that is open to all expecting and new moms, partners and grandparents. Participation is not limited to patients of Community Healthcare System.
Booths and speakers will feature new, updated classes and local agencies that specialize in helping expectant and new moms. The event will include the following:
· Breastfeeding education
· Car seat safety
· Childbirth education
· CPR friends and family
· Grandparents class
· Infant speech and audiology
· Safe sleep information
