Martin Luther King Park ribbon cutting

Please join Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr., Mark Heintz, Hammond Parks and Recreation, 3^rd District Councilman Barry Tyler, and the Hammond Board of Park Commissioners as they dedicate the new playground and interactive water feature at Martin Luther King Park with a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, July 2nd at 1:00 p.m.

Everyone is invited! It’s going to be a hot day so we hope to see lots of people and kids in attendance for some great pictures both on the new playground and cooling off in the water feature!

Please bring your mask and keep physical distance as much as possible.
