Indiana Duneland LULAC to host its 2019 Annual Scholarship Luncheon

Indiana Duneland LULAC Council #5016 will host its 2019 Scholarship Luncheon on Sunday, July 28. The luncheon will be held at Gino’s Banquets hall located at 1967 East 37th, Hobart, Indiana. The event will run from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The speaker of the night will be Ms. Valentine Torres, a native to Northwest Indiana. Born in Gary to Puerto Rican parents, she was then raised in South Haven and attended Portage High School. Valentine has a bachelor of science in management and is currently working towards her master’s in business administration with a concentration in management specialization. Mrs. Valentine Torres is employed with the School City of Hobart serving as a Business Teacher along with doing college and career advising.

Entertainment will be provided by the Ballet Folklorico Fiesta Mexicana, directed by Ms. Angelica Oria.
