Indiana Duneland LULAC to host its 2019 Annual Scholarship Luncheon

Indiana Duneland LULAC Council #5016 will host its 2019 Scholarship Luncheon on Sunday, July 28. The luncheon will be held at Gino’s Banquets hall located at 1967 East 37^th, Hobart, Indiana. The event will run from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The speaker of the night will be Ms. Valentine Torres, a native to Northwest Indiana. Born in Gary to Puerto Rican parents, she was then raised in South Haven and attended Portage High School. Valentine has a bachelor of science in management and is currently working towards her master’s in business administration with a concentration in management specialization. Mrs. Valentine Torres is employed with the School City of Hobart serving as a Business Teacher along with doing college and career advising.

Entertainment will be provided by the Ballet Folklorico Fiesta Mexicana, directed by Ms. Angelica Oria.
