Hammond celebrates the Holidays with Canvas Painting

Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and the City of Hammond celebrate the holiday season with a Holiday Canvas class on Friday, Dec. 04 at 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm in Hammond’s historic Civic Center. The event will take place in the gymnasium where participants can learn “hands-on” how to paint a festive holiday scene.

This, our third canvas painting event at the Civic Center, is open to residents as well as non-residents of the City of Hammond.

Registration for this event is $35 and is taking place at the Hammond Civic Center located at 5825 Sohl Ave. Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm. This fee includes all supplies for the canvas painting and step-by-step instruction. Spaces are limited to 30 people, all of which are required to come wearing a face mask or covering.
