Wirt-Emerson Visual and Performing Arts High Ability Academy Holding Auditions in 2016

Wirt-Emmerson-Auditions-2016With a 100 percent graduation rate for the past two years, Wirt-Emerson Visual and Performing Arts High Ability Academy has taken the right step towards directing their students to higher education and good career choices.

Wirt-Emerson VPA gives students the opportunity to take dual credit courses and work towards and early college start. By also being a student, they have a chance for financial help such as scholarships and grants. The school has produced recipients of the Bill Gates Millennium Scholarship, a scholarship that supports the cost of education.

The advantage of attending Wirt-Emerson is that the student does not need to stay true to the traditional curriculum style of most schools. If a student decides to focus on performing arts such as choir, band or dance, Wirt-Emerson offers those opportunities.

When applying to certain professional trade schools for these specific arts after high school, it helps to have a relatively knowledgeable background regarding a certain craft. Many people believe they have to travel to be able to study performing arts, when really Wirt-Emerson VPA in Gary, Indiana offers that introduction that students need.
