It's that time of the year again for the long anticipated Wine.Dine.Shop which will be held Saturday, September 7th. The event, which runs from Noon until 4:00p.m., is essentially just like it sounds: an afternoon to enjoy some great wine, delicious food and some shopping.
For $10, you will get a "passport" to travel the Downtown Business District of Whiting, enjoying free samples of wines from our businesses, tasters of food from our eateries and visiting our great shops with chances to win fantastic prizes.
Participants will get a map of businesses along with a menu of what the businesses; restaurant or shop will have to offer you. Along the way, shops will be filling your "swag bag" with coupons, giveaways, menus and more. Come enjoy over 20 stops during Wine.Dine.Shop and experience a wonderful afternoon in downtown Whiting.
Advance tickets can be purchases at The Junkyard, 1504 119th St. and the Chamber of Commerce, 1417 119th St. Last year tickets were not available the day of the event so be sure to get yours early.
