During the month of January, all the Duneland Schools participated in the Pop Tab Wars sponsored by Hannah’s Hope collecting 593,100 tabs for the organization.
This was the fourth annual sponsored Pop Tab War and the first one that all of the Duneland Schools were invited to participate in. All the Duneland Schools participated this year with Westchester collecting the most tabs per student in the district. Total tabs collected by Westchester were 181,650 per student. Second place went to Liberty Elementary with 137, 850 tabs and third place to Bailly Elementary with 99,150 tabs.
Hannah’s Hope is a not for profit organization that aims at assisting children with special needs obtain various therapies and costly medical equipment that is so desperately needed.
