Mrs. Will-Brum hosted a pet adoption event for her preschool classes. Every student was able to "adopt" a stuffed animal and spend the day taking care of their new pet.
The students were able to take their new pets to a veterinarian/grooming station, a feeding station, and a station with toys that their pets could play with.
Some of Mrs. Will-Brum's students have some form of special needs and being able to have the sensory stimulation of touching a stuffed animal and having something to love and take care of can be extremely beneficial for their development.
